White Sands Pupfish
Pecos League
July 28 and 29, 2017
Griggs Sports Complex in Alamogordo, New Mexico, home of the White Sands Pupfish.
Signing my contract with Manager Chris Stout.
Authentic minor league accommodations for my first night as a minor league player. A night time road project created a daunting, after-dark, 50-mile desert and mountain detour. Since I had been awake since 2:30 a.m. (EST) I joined my teammates overnight in the Pupfish team house.
Click the "Only A Game" icon to hear how the closing of New Mexico's only road tunnel diverted me to a pull out couch for my first night as a minor league baseball player.
In the dugout before the second game of my baseball career. I eagerly agreed to Commissioner Andrew Dunn's plan to sign for a three-game series to make sure there was an opportunity to play without affecting teams' playoff rankings. (One game was cancelled.)
The line up card the night of my minor league debut.
